المحسنين — "those who do good"
A home for faith, learning and service in Manchester.
Al-Muhsinoon takes its name from the Qur'an's call to ihsan — doing good with excellence. We open our doors for prayer, study and care, every day of the year.
- Open daily
- Five daily prayers, doors open to all.
- Jumuʻah
- Friday khutbah, weekly — see noticeboard for times.
- Free to learn
- Qur’an & Arabic classes for children and adults.
وَأَحْسِنُوا ۛ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
“…and do good: truly Allah loves al-muhsinin — the doers of good.”
Qur’an 2:195
Our mission takes its name from this verse.
We exist to make ihsan practical: a place to pray with sincerity, learn with purpose, and serve the people of Manchester without condition.
Worship
A clean, welcoming prayer hall open for all five daily prayers and Friday congregation, for residents and visitors alike.
Learning
Qur’an recitation, tajweed and Arabic, taught from first letters through to fluency, for children and adults.
Service
Zakat and sadaqah collected and distributed locally — food, hardship grants, and a hand extended to anyone in need.
